Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the trading or automobile sector, with a strong understanding of inventory accounting, taxation, and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Manage GST/VAT filings, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Assist in budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Work closely with procurement, sales, and inventory teams
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and statutory requirements
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational abilities
