The Remittance Operations Officer will be responsible for handling day-to-day remittance transactions, reconciliation of foreign partner transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires strong operational knowledge of remittance software and financial transaction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Process inward and outward remittance transactions accurately.
Operate and manage remittance software efficiently.
Perform daily reconciliation of transactions with foreign partners.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation.
Coordinate with banks, foreign partners, and internal departments.
Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
Ensure timely settlement and smooth operational flow.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in remittance operations or financial institutions preferred.
- Experience in operating remittance software is mandatory.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Very sound knowledge of operating remittance software.
- Strong knowledge of transaction reconciliation of foreign parties.
- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel preferred).
