Job Description
- Support for the preparation and implementation of the Capacity Development plan of the Lead Ministry.
- Maintaining contacts with public partners at working level.
- Close coordination with relevant factors of cooperative sector at different levels for ensuring their linkages for neccessary service provision.
- Support for preparation of project steering committee meetings.
Job Specification
- Ability to analyze complex contexts and to process them in a targeted manner.
- Ability to work independently and with a solution oriented attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good negotiation skill and a good team player.

GIZ has been active in Nepal since 1975 on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and opened its own office in the capital, Kathmandu, in 1979. At present 25 seconded staff and about 250 national staff, 9 CIM experts and 24 development workers, 6 of them working under the auspices of the Civil Peace Service (CPS), are working for it in Nepal.
