Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
To support the CFO in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, cost control, and internal financial discipline. The Finance Manager will also play a key role in supporting audits and day-to-day financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and control budgets, forecasts, and variances across departments.
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Ensure timely compliance with tax filings, TDS, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and identify areas for savings in manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Support in managing accounts payable, receivable, inventory accounting, and payroll coordination.
- Generate MIS reports to support strategic decisions by the CFO and management.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and SOPs across financial functions.
- Use ERP and accounting software to maintain real-time financial data integrity.
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior finance team members.
Job Specification
Education: Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter / IPCC) or equivalent in Finance/Accounting
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounts (manufacturing experience preferred)
Industry Preference: Manufacturing, Cement, Steel, or FMCG
