Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain billing, Â financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic planning.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Support other finance-related tasks and projects as required.
Job Specification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the software or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software is a plus.
