Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to handle end-to-end accounting operations of a manufacturing unit. The role involves managing production, consumption, inventory, cost accounting, excise compliance, and statutory reporting while ensuring accurate financial records and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will have solid manufacturing accounting experience, strong knowledge of Nepal accounting and taxation laws, and the ability to work independently in a compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete accounting operations of the manufacturing unit.
- Maintain proper records of production, consumption, wastage, and stock.
- Manage excise-related accounting, records, returns, and compliance as per prevailing laws.
- Prepare and review cost sheets, production reports, and consumption analysis.
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage VAT, TDS, excise, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Supervise accounts staff and ensure proper documentation and internal controls.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Accounts Manager or Senior Accountant in a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of excise, production & consumption accounting.
- Experience in cost accounting in manufacturing setup.
- Good understanding of Nepal accounting standards and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/Swastik or similar) and MS Excel.

Preferred Candidate
- Candidate with prior experience in soap, FMCG, or similar manufacturing industries will be given preference.
