Vacancy Announcement!

Organization: Yours Humanly Nepal

Position: Assistant Coordinator | Full time

Office hours: 10 AM to 5 PM | Sunday to Friday (holidays on major public holidays)

Location: Tikhedewal-14, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, (near Tikhedewal BigMart, Nakhipot area)

Required Skills:

1. Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
2. Google Suite (Drive, Doc, Sheet, Slides, Form, etc.)
3. Research skills (online and on-site) – questionnaire preparation, interview planning, location history, background, statistics, etc.
4. Report writing (field-trip report, scholar progress report, project progress report, quarterly summary)
5. Basic accounting (keeping daybook, bills management and filing, petty cash management, coordinating with auditor for annual audit)
6. Communication, correspondence, and coordination (formal email and phone call with partner schools, scholars, guardians of scholars, board of directors, other organizations including local government offices and officials, NGOs, INGOs, etc.), and in-person coordination with the same
7. Social media post creation on behalf of the organization in coordination with management (basic skills in photo editing will be an advantage)
8. Secretarial skills (assisting board of directors in all administrative work including writing minutes of the meeting, preparing meeting agendas, booking flights, hotel, event halls, restaurants, transportation, ordering meals, file-keeping and management, photographing field visits, events, etc., preparing formal notices, invitations, managing housekeeping staff and volunteers, hospitality as needed, etc.)
9. Formal qualifications: Diploma or bachelors in any field with minimum 1 year experience in NGO sector
10. Must be fluent in both English and Nepali. A third language-proficiency will be an advantage.
11. Most important requirement: COMMON SENSE and “can do” attitude. Mature and self-motivated individuals preferred. Strong sense of accountability and professionalism. Ability to work independently. Polite and self-aware.
