Safer Migration Program Phase III
Safer Migration (SaMi) Program is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland. It is implemented by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security and 156 participating local governments. Helvetas Nepal provides technical assistance to the program on behalf of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). We encourage interested Nepali applicants, who have a desire to learn, to take advantage of the Traineeship opportunity.

Title: TRAINEE (Administration)

Key learning objectives: The trainee will gain first-hand knowledge of a professional working environment and acquire skills for managing the front desk, documenting, recording, and providing basic administrative support. The Trainee will learn and serve as the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls, visitors, and deliveries.

Required Education and Competencies: Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or any relevant field. Fresh graduates with no prior work experience. Learning attitude and a team player. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction and sensitivity towards migrant workers and their families.

Duty Station: SaMi Program Support Unit, Lalitpur.

Duration: 1 year (12 months)
