Position Overview

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to apply:

Educational Qualification:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized international or national institution.
• Registration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) is mandatory.

Work Experience:

• Prior experience in auditing, banking, or financial services is preferred.
• Fresh Chartered Accountants may also apply if they demonstrate strong competency and potential.

Other Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of IFRS/NFRS and Nepalese accounting standards

Key Responsibilities

The selected Chartered Accountant will be responsible for

• Conducting internal financial audits and ensuring compliance with banking regulations
• Preparing and reviewing accurate financial reports
• Assisting in risk assessment and internal control frameworks
• Supporting statutory audits and liaising with external auditors
• Advising management on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensuring adherence to NRB directives and ICAN codes of conduct
