Job Description
A Plus Mount Coffee Beans is looking for a friendly, skilled, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and beverages, good customer service skills, and the ability to maintain quality and hygiene standards in a busy café environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and hot and cold beverages according to standard recipes.
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage-making equipment properly.
Prepare espresso-based drinks such as espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, and mocha.
Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient, and professional service.
Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all beverages.
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, equipment, tables, and work area.
Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other café supplies.
Assist with daily opening and closing duties.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Work closely with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
Handle customer requests and feedback professionally.
Perform other café-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Specification

Previous experience as a Barista or in a café/hospitality environment is preferred.
Barista training or certification will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of coffee preparation and basic café operations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to operate and maintain coffee-making equipment.
Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices.
