Posiiton: Project Assistant – Children’s Home (Live-in)
Location: Parwanipur, Parsa
Our Sansar is looking for a caring, reliable and motivated Project Assistant to join our Children’s Home in Parwanipur.
This is a live-in position based at the home, supporting the day-to-day wellbeing of the boys who live there. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, can build positive relationships, and is happy to be involved in all aspects of daily life at the home.
Main responsibilities:
Supporting the daily care and wellbeing of the boys living in the Children’s Home
Encouraging and motivating children to attend school regularly
Helping with homework, studying and educational activities
Liaising with local schools, teachers and school staff
Supporting children with routines, behaviour, confidence and personal development
Assisting with shopping and day-to-day household tasks
Helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming home environment
Supporting with basic upkeep of the building and outdoor spaces, including the garden
Being a positive role model and trusted adult for the children
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and young people
Is patient, compassionate and dependable
Has strong communication skills
Is proactive and willing to help wherever needed
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is organised, flexible and practical
Has previous experience working with children, education, care, community work or residential settings
Can speak and write in English
Has basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel, Google Drive)
