Society of deafblind Parents Repandehi (SDBP_R) is Society o organization of, by and for the Deafblindness People in Rupandehi SDBP_R was established in 2022 by the joint effort and collaboration of the local governments and formally registered as non- governmental organization in District Administration Office, Rupandehi and Social Welfare Council. Currently SDBP_R is having listed with 3 municipalities in Rupandehi District.
SDBP_R is working Under the project “CADiR – Collective Action for Disability Rights,” implemented in partnership with NDFN (Signo), SDBP R Rupandehi is implementing the project. SDBP_R is currently working towards strengthening the educational status of children with deafblindness in Rupandehi district (Tilottama and Siddhrathanagar Municipality) to address the needs of persons with multiple disability and deafblindness in district. SDBP_R is seeking the potential candidates for the position of so We are looking for a self-driven, dynamic and result-oriented candidate for our vacant position.

Job Description
The Finance Officer should work directly and closely with the Board and the Project Coordinator (PC) rather than reporting to a Finance Manager.
Provide support to the district project offices and other National Resource center partners on financial management.
Manage E-TDS of staffs, resource persons and related parties.
Book and monitor financial transaction on accounting system and reconcile the bank and account in monthly basis.
Develop necessary document on procurement and other financial transaction.
Work to implement and make necessary amendment in the financial policy of organization.
Liaison with board, Project manager and Finance manager on preparing budget and financial planning.
Provide Logistic management support to the organization.
Ensure the reports are on time and are in line with the Partners reporting criteria.

A. Service Planning & Delivery
Provide physiotherapy services in home-based and resource class settings
Develop individualized physiotherapy plans aligned with IEPs
Support early intervention and rehabilitation needs of children
B. Technical Support & Capacity Building
Train home-based educators, resource teachers, and caregivers on basic physiotherapy techniques
Develop simple manuals/guidelines for home-based physiotherapy support
Provide ongoing technical guidance and supervision
C. Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with project team, educators, and senior physiotherapist
Coordinate with service providers for treatment and assistive devices
Support integration of physiotherapy into education and care plans
D. Monitoring & Documentation
Maintain records of physiotherapy sessions and progress
Monitor quality of services provided by educators and caregivers
Prepare regular reports and update documentation tools
E. Support to Rehabilitation & Livelihood Linkages
Identify opportunities for vocational and rehabilitation support

Bachelor in Education or relative filed with at least 1 year of work experience in field of disability, especially sensory impairment. (continuing Bachelor with more than 3 years’ experience on community-based rehabilitation program will also be considered)
Good understanding on disability-related National (disability right act inclusive education policy, Health policies) and International laws and policies (UNCRPD, SDG)
Familiar with current socio-political context and change process
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Nepali language (English will add value)

Job Description
Be able to work hands on with the children and should be able to plan proper Individual Education Plan (IEP) and activities as per the need of the child.
The candidate should be able to develop rapport with the family members of the children.
Work closely with the project team on various events, awareness campaigns, conduct trainings and workshops.
The candidate should be able to conduct/be part of team conducting functional assessments of special needs of the children (preferably deafblindness, Visual
Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual disabilities)
Be able to produce written reports on child’s progress.
The candidate should be able to modify classroom/home set-up, and help children participate in educational activities.
