Job Description
The Spare Parts Officer is responsible for managing, tracking, and controlling spare parts inventory to support efficient service operations at Thee Go Care Service Centre. The role ensures timely availability of genuine parts, accurate stock records, and smooth coordination with technicians, vendors, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day spare parts inventory, including receiving, storage, issuance, and record-keeping
Ensure availability of required spare parts to minimize service delays
Issue spare parts to technicians as per job cards and maintain proper documentation
Maintain accurate stock records in manual registers or inventory management systems
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions when required
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for ordering genuine spare parts
Verify spare parts quality and ensure compliance with company standards
Track defective, returned, and replaced parts and handle warranty-related documentation
Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the spare parts store
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal inventory control procedures
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Electronics, or a related field
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in spare parts, inventory, or store management (service center experience preferred)
Basic knowledge of electronics/appliance spare parts
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory systems
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
