Position: Data Scientist (For AI Projects)- Officer Level (O/O1/O2)

Job Summary:

The Data Scientist will be responsible for applying advanced analytical methods to extract valuable insights, predict market trends, detect fraud and develop predictive models crucial for the bank’s new AI services.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development: Design, build, train and evaluate machine learning models (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, deep learning) to solve key business problems (e.g., credit scoring, personalized banking, risk assessment).
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Perform in-depth statistical analysis to understand complex data structures and identify critical features.
MLeOps Support: Collaborate with Data Engineers and System Administrators to facilitate the operationalization and monitoring of models in a production environment.
Stakeholder Communication: Present complex findings and model outcomes clearly to non-technical audiences and business leaders.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent).
Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms and experimental design.
Proficiency in Python (libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and R.
Experience in a regulated industry like banking or finance is a plus.
Ability to translate business requirements into specific, solvable data science problems.

Prerequisites for applying:

Minimum 2.5 CGPA or 2nd Division in Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field in Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics / Information System/Computer Applications or any IT / quantitative related or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
Age not exceeding 40 years as of 26th March 2026.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in supervisory role in Bank and Financial Institution / Fintech Companies or related field.
