Position: Jr. IT Officer
Location: Corporate Office (Gairidhara, Kathmandu)
Position Summary:
The Junior IT Officer at Shaurya Cements Industries Limited will assist with technical support, hardware/software troubleshooting, system installations, and network maintenance. Key duties include monitoring systems, managing user accounts, supporting IT projects, testing updates, and documenting procedures. Additional responsibilities involve user training, inventory management, IT security, and data backup. This role ensures smooth and secure IT operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support in person, over the phone, or electronically.
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate complex problems.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and peripherals.
Assist in managing network infrastructure and user accounts.
Monitor system performance and address network issues.
Support IT projects, research new technologies, and document procedures.
Participate in software/hardware updates and user training.
Maintain inventory records and uphold IT security protocols.
Assist in data backup and disaster recovery efforts.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s in computer/ Electronics Engineering/ IT
Experience:
At least 1 Year experience in Related Field.
