Job Description
Position: Assistant Manager – Supply Chain
Location: Kathmandu
Qualification & Experience:
Master’s degree with 7-8 years experience in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations (FMCG preferred)
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong FMCG SCM knowledge, coordination Leadership
Analytical, problem-solving negotiation skills
Proficient in MS Excel ERP/SAP
Excellent communication; thrives in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in demand forecasting supply planning; coordinate with sales, logistics suppliers
Inventory monitoring across warehouses; control stock-outs, overstock, slow/expired items
Purchase Requestion Purchase Order support, vendor follow-ups timely procurement
Logistics issue resolution, customs coordination distribution support
SCM reporting, MIS maintenance basic KPI analysis
Implement SOPs, ensure compliance with company policies, and support continuous improvement initiatives
