Position: Jr. Cyber Security Associate

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal (On-site)

Responsibilities:

Watch over networks and systems for potential threats and security alerts.
Assist in the installation and configuration of firewalls, encryption, and other security tools.
Help with the response to security incidents, including initial analysis and mitigation steps.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability tests to identify weaknesses in the systems.
Keep security documentation and reports up to date.
Help train employees on security best practices to prevent social engineering and phishing attacks.
Carry out other duties assigned by the seniors.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree Completed in IT/Cyber Security or related field.
Must be an engineering council certified
Min. 5yrs. of experience in the networking field.
A foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts like firewalls, encryption, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
Preferred certifications like CEH or other cybersecurity-related certifications can be highly beneficial.
Knowledge of diverse and emerging technology concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
A customer-centric approach while applying higher-level business objectives.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
