We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with 2–3 years of experience, including hands-on knowledge of stock broking accounting processes. This role requires not only solid accounting skills but also an understanding of capital market operations, compliance with SEBON/NEPSE regulations, and client fund management practices typical of a brokerage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile client ledger accounts in compliance with stock market regulations.
  • Manage daily brokerage operations-related accounting tasks including purchases, sales, commission income, and DP charges.
  • Handle the reconciliation of NEPSE and CDS transactions with internal systems.
  • Monitor and manage client fund balances, margins, and settlements.
  • Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly financial reports, including P/L and balance sheet statements.
  • Ensure proper accounting for broker commissions, DP charges, and other revenue streams.
  • Stay up-to-date with SEBON and NEPSE compliance requirements and reporting formats.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors and regulators during audits and inspections.
  • Manage payroll, taxation (TDS, income tax), and statutory filings.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance and support risk management process.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Job Specification

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience.
  • Sound knowledge of stock market operations, NEPSE/CDS systems, and SEBON compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in Nepal.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
