Job Description
Key responsibilities
Responsible for managing financial reporting, auditing, taxation, budgeting, and compliance. Ensures accurate financial records, supports financial planning, and provides strategic financial advice to management.
Oversee and manage the overall finance and accounting operations of the company.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Manage tax planning and compliance, including VAT, income tax, TDS, and other statutory obligations.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of financial documents.
Monitor and manage company cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
Review bank reconciliations, financial schedules, and expense reports to ensure accuracy.
Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with government financial regulations.
Support management with financial insights related to cost control, investment decisions, and financial risk management.
Perform additional financial duties and special assignments as required by senior management.
Job Specification
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized professional accounting body.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, or auditing.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and taxation regulations in Nepal.
Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and managing audits.
Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cost management.
Familiarity with corporate finance and internal control systems.
Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation laws, VAT regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced accounting software.
Ability to prepare professional financial reports and presentations.
Strong financial analysis and decision-support capabilities
Flexibility to work as needed to meet organizational deadlines.
High level of professional ethics and integrity.
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
