Job Description
The Account Assistant will support the finance and accounting team by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in reporting. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and keen to grow in the finance/accounting field.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of bills and payments.
Assist in payroll preparation and reconciliation of employee expenses.
Support budget tracking and expense monitoring.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial transactions.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance support roles preferred.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
