Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and creative Interior Designers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in interior design and possess proficiency in essential software tools. They will work closely with HOD to develop and execute interior projects, ensuring high-quality designs and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities Includes
- Client consultation: Meet with clients to determine project goals, requirements, and budget.
- Design and Visualization: Develop design concepts and create detailed 2D and 3D plans, renderings, and mood boards.
- Material and Product Selection: Research and specify materials, furnishings (FF&E - furniture, fixtures, and equipment), color schemes, lighting, and accessories.
- Project Management & Coordination: Estimate project costs and timelines, place orders for materials, and coordinate with other professionals like architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialized tradespeople (electricians, plumbers).
- Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure that the work is executed according to the design plans and quality standards.
- Code compliance: Ensure that designs comply with building codes and accessibility standards
- Construction oversight: Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and other building specialists, and visit the site to ensure plans are followed and quality is maintained.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detail report on BOQ, Project Cost, Manpower efficiency, Client satisfaction level, etc to top management or appointed supervisor
Job Specification
- Bachelor's in interior design/ architecture
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vray/Enscape)
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to understand needs and present ideas.
- Ability to overcome design challenges and find solutions that meet client needs and budget constraints
- Awareness of building codes, safety regulations, and emerging trends in materials and design
- A strong sense of color, space, and design principles is required to create beautiful and functional environments.
- Experience in Residential and Commercial Design Projects will be an added benefits
- Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules.
