Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented International Ticketing Officer who is highly proficient in Sabre and Amadeus GDS systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for issuing, reissuing, and managing international flight tickets, handling customer queries, and ensuring a smooth and accurate booking experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, thorough knowledge of fare rules and airline policies, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make accurate international flight reservations using Sabre and Amadeus.
- Issue, reissue, void, and refund airline tickets according to fare rules and airline guidelines.
- Monitor and manage PNRs, queues, ticket deadlines, and schedule changes.
- Provide fare quotations and itinerary options to online customers.
- Handle BSP, ADM/ACM queries, and ensure correct ticketing processes are followed.
- Coordinate with airlines for special requests, group bookings, and fare disputes.
- Ensure all tickets and bookings comply with IATA and company standards.
- Provide after-sales support including ticket changes, cancellations, refunds and add ancillary services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, promotions, and international travel regulations.
- Assist in training junior staff in GDS usage and ticketing procedures when required.
Job Specification
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in international air ticketing.
- Expert-level proficiency in Sabre and Amadeus GDS platforms (mandatory).
- In-depth knowledge of IATA fare construction, ticketing rules, and global routes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings efficiently.
- Familiarity with BSP and ARC reporting systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Meta System and other social media to response.
Preferred:
- Diploma or certification in Travel and Tourism or Airline Ticketing.
- Experience handling corporate travel accounts or group ticketing.
- Knowledge of other GDS (Galileo) is a plus.
