Job Description

The Academic Writing Officer is responsible for preparing, organizing, and maintaining all documentation and records required for institutional and programmatic accreditations. The role involves coordinating with internal departments to gather necessary data, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and assisting in audits and external reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, compile, and format data and reports for accreditation bodies (e.g., national education boards, international agencies).
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate documentation related to institutional/program accreditation.
  • Work closely with academic, administrative, and quality assurance departments to ensure the timely submission of documents.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure all accreditation submissions and renewals are completed on time.
  • Maintain a central database or digital archive of accreditation documents and correspondence.
  • Stay updated on changes in accreditation standards and procedures.
  • Draft official letters, self-study reports, and responses to queries from accrediting agencies.
  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement plans based on accreditation feedback.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Prior experience in accreditation, documentation, or regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with educational standards and accreditation processes is a plus.

Working Shift: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Nepali Time.
