Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our dynamic team. The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department in daily administrative tasks, recruitment processes, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance management. This role is vital in ensuring smooth HR operations and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leave, and payroll details.
- Prepare and manage HR-related documents such as contracts, offer letters, and notices.
- Assist in scheduling interviews, meetings, and other HR activities.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Post job advertisements on various platforms and manage applications.
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation and orientation sessions.
Employee Engagement and Relations
- Assist in organizing training programs, workshops, and employee engagement events.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide information on HR policies and procedures.
- Support grievance handling and conflict resolution processes.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies in Nepal.
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, such as recruitment status, turnover rates, and training effectiveness.
- Assist in audits and inspections related to HR functions.
Other Duties
- Support initiatives to enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Perform any other HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR manager.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience in an HR or administrative role (preferred).
- Knowledge of Nepalese labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality.
