Job Description
- Must be responsible for budgeting, financial management, and reporting; procurement oversight; administrative management of sub-awards and vendor contracts; human resources management; and general administrative.
- Should provide operational support for program activities and serve as a member of the project’s Senior Management Team to ensure that the project team has the administrative and financial support required to deliver on the program description and approved work plans.
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to steer the company toward its long-term goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of company operations, including but not limited to, finance, marketing, product development, and human resources.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, and partners, to drive sustainable growth and success.
- Champion innovation and adaptability to stay ahead of market trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Uphold the company's values and commitment to corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
Job Specification
- Master in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or Other Relevant Field.
- At least seven years of professional work experience in the financial and administrative management of large complex development projects, preferably with FCDO or other donor funding and in social sector fields.
- Supervisory or management work experience including: direct supervision of professional and support staff; quality evaluation of staff performance and deliverables.
- Contract/ cooperative agreement management and ability to lead large complex programs and motivate multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
- Experience in managing financial transactions on FCDO-funded programs preferred and familiarity with FCDO regulations and procedures.
- Excellent financial management skills and knowledge of the latest management tools and computer applications.
- Ability to set priorities, and multi-task.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, with an emphasis on budgeting and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proven written and oral presentation skills in English.
