Job Description
  • Responsible for overseeing all front desk operations at a hotel, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing revenue, and maintaining a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for guests.
  • First point of contact for guests and is responsible for managing a team of front desk staff.
  • Training and supervising staff, scheduling shifts, and handling any guest complaints or issues that may arise.
  • Responsible for overseeing reservations, managing room assignments, and ensuring that guest information is accurately entered into the hotel's PMS.
  • Responsible for handling billing and payment processing, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring that the front desk area is clean and organized.
  • Maximizing revenue by upselling room upgrades, promoting hotel amenities, and encouraging guests to participate in membership programs or special promotions.
  • Responsible for managing rates and inventory to ensure that the hotel is always maximizing its revenue potential.
Job Specification
  • A minimum of bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in Front Office.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, reservations systems, and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems related to front office operations.
