Job Description
The Account & Admin Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting daily administrative operations. The role ensures compliance with financial regulations and smooth office functioning.
Key responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bank reconciliations
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash
Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, TDS, etc.)
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
Manage office operations and administrative procedures
Maintain office supplies and inventory
Handle documentation, filing, and record-keeping
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and official communications
Support HR functions such as attendance and basic payroll coordination
Liaise with vendors, service providers, and government offices
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)
Experience or knowledge in import–export documentation is an added advantage
Candidates residing in or around Tokha are preferred.
