Job Description
The Account & Admin Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting daily administrative operations. The role ensures compliance with financial regulations and smooth office functioning.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, TDS, etc.)
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Manage office operations and administrative procedures
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Handle documentation, filing, and record-keeping
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and official communications
- Support HR functions such as attendance and basic payroll coordination
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and government offices
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)
- Experience or knowledge in import–export documentation is an added advantage
- Candidates residing in or around Tokha are preferred.
