Job Description

Responsible for overseeing all financial activities and driving strategic financial planning to ensure the company's long-term financial success.
Reporting directly to the CEO, to shape the company's financial strategy and optimizing its financial performance.
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with Sasto Ticket Private Limited overall goals and objectives.
Provide strategic guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth and profitability.
Book Keeping & General Accounting : Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records, record financial transaction in General ledger, ensure real time issuance of Ticket Sales Tax invoice in Book Keeping Software, ensure real time book keeping of Purchase Invoice and ensure proper documentation and coding of invoice, expenses and payments.
Input Tax Credit Reconciliation: maintain accurate reconciliation of Input Tax Credit under Value Added Tax Act for MIS and Tax Reporting purpose and prepare weekly sales and Purchase reconciliation.
Financial Management:Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and integrity in financial builreporting.
Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with the requirement of Value Added Tax Act, 2052 and Income Tax Act 2058. Ensure payment of taxes and adherence to tax deadlines.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls. Monitor key financial metrics and provide timely analysis and recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insightful analysis and actionable recommendations to drive informed decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
Capital Management: Manage capital structure and investment decisions to optimize returns and support strategic initiatives. Evaluate capital allocation opportunities, including investments in new projects, acquisitions, and partnerships, to maximize shareholder value.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, regulatory authorities, and auditors. Provide transparent and timely communication on financial performance, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to drive excellence in financial management and achieve departmental goals.

Job Specification

Semi qualified Chartered Accountants with proven experience of working in Tours and Travels Industry.
At least 2 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles as an Accountant.
Practical understanding of VAT Accounting in Tours and Travels business imposed by Finance Act, 2080 of Nepal.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic thinking, with a demonstrated ability to drive results and lead change in a dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on team development, empowerment, and performance management.
