Job Description
- Preparing legal papers and briefs, researching legal issues, and drafting legal documents such as contracts, wills, trusts, and business agreements.
- Drafting pleadings and motions for court proceedings including criminal charges, bankruptcy petitions, and appeals of administrative decisions.
- Represent in court, negotiate with opposite counsel, and work with clients to develop legal arguments.
- Conducting research on legal issues to support litigation efforts.
- Interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to advice properly.
- Reviewing and analyzing laws, regulations, and cases related to specific industries such as insurance, banking, or securities trading to advise companies on how to comply with legal requirements.
Job Specification
- Minimum Bachelor/Master's Degree in Law and must hold a valid Advocate license.
- Experience in insurance, banking, and financial institutions, with expertise in preparing reports, advocacy, managing events, etc.
- Should have a better understanding of prevailing laws, regulations, and directives relating to the Banking/Insurance sector and related fields.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Nepali.
- Pleasant Personality with excellent interpersonal skills and computer knowledge.
- Age not exceeding 35 years.
