Job Description
- Strong knowledge of motor vehicle construction, repair techniques, and automotive industry standards.
- Outside Inspection/investigation of claim and reported to the company.
- Approval of claims within the prescribed approval authority.
- Regular monitoring of the claim flow process to settle the claim in a timely & equitable manner.
- Prepare comprehensive reports of claims as and when required by the seniors/department heads.
- Periodic review of outstanding claims as per company guidelines.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification or diploma in Motor Vehicle Surveying or Insurance Surveying is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in motor insurance surveying, automotive repair, or a related field.
- Experience in assessing vehicle damage and preparing repair cost estimates.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various inspection sites.
- Physical ability to inspect vehicles in multiple conditions and environments.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
