RRB Logistics is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the company's financial reporting and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and experience handling accounts for a logistics or trading business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update general ledger, journal entries, and financial records
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts receivable/payable
- Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, and other statutory tax filings as per Nepal's tax regulations
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Track and reconcile logistics-related costs (fuel, freight, vehicle maintenance, vendor payments)
- Monitor budgets and flag discrepancies or cost overruns
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and government offices (Inland Revenue Department, etc.) as required
- Support management with financial data for decision-making
