Job Description

>Reports to: Manager – Corporate Affairs
Function   Sales

 

>JOB SUMMARY:

 

>As a Corporate Sales Executive, you will play a key role in the success of the department; you will build business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with clients. You will be responsible for providing mid-level administrative support, working towards Customer Service Excellence through proactive communication, driving order fulfilment and resolution of issues as needed and requested.

 

>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

>Sales – 50% (Market visit/Lead generation/Relationship management/Prospecting)

 

>

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales possibilities
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
  • Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on a regular basis
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
  • >Administrative/clerical work – 30% (Billing/Reports/ Stock management/ Maintenance of Books/ Accounting Entries/Payment follow ups)

     

     

    >
  • Prepares correspondence, reports and other forms as needed by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information
  • Implement process improvements within the scope of work
  • Update customer information in the customer service database 
  • Follow up for payments on a regular basis
  • >Order fulfilment/ processing – 15% (Sending quotations/Order fulfilment/dispatch)

  • Send quotations to clients
  • Ensure smooth delivery of orders
  • >Others 5%

     

    >
  • Other duties as and when required/ as assigned by line manager
  • >Customer service – 101%

Job Specification

>

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience
  • Proven experience in sales and/or customer service position or relevant role
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain courteous, professional communication with all clients and co-workers at all times
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other written materials
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Ability to work effectively using electronic fulfilment system, POS register, & inventory management systems
