Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Account Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using Tally software. The Account Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department, performing clerical tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for financial documents.
Perform data entry and manage financial databases.
Respond to queries from clients, vendors, and internal departments.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Job Specification

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Basic knowledge of tally software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
Familiarity with Tally software is required.
