Job Description
  • Develop project implementation strategies, operation plans and ensure quality assurance to meet the projects’ objectives within the project time frame
  • Coordinate for developing model or prototype for disability-inclusive SRH services in the project selected municipalities
  • Ensure improved visibility and deeper understanding of young people with disabilities and barriers they have in accessing SRH and livelihood services
  • Ensure Young people with disabilities have increased access to and utilisation of quality and inclusive SRH services
  • Coordinate for capacity building of the consortium partners and the local implementing partners
  • Develop linkage between SRH and livelihoods services for young people with disabilities, and analyze inter-relationship between the two sectors to determine better model than can be promoted in the scale-up phase
  • Promote disability-inclusive system/governance at the project working municipalities by enhancing the capacity of local authorities
  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure strong coordination with consortium partners for smooth planning and implementation of project activities
  • Be responsible for decisions related to managing costs and expenditure for project activities 
  • Liaise with project-related line government departments/ ministries to explore various possibilities for developing/bringing in policy-level changes for making the successful implementation of the project 
Job Specification
  • Master’s in public health / development studies with 5-7 years of project management experience preferably research background in sexual reproductive health rights and human rights issues
  • Understanding of international human rights instruments and principles
  • Experience on working in consortium project
  • Proven experience of working with government in local level 
  • Sound understanding of disability inclusive development issues and their linkages to broader sectors
  • Experience of designing and conduct training to public health officials
  • Sound knowledge of Nepal’s health governance system and materials produced  about SRHR by other agencies
  • Strong coordination and team management skill
