Job Description
  • The Programme Analyst, Data, is responsible for the generation and analysis of socio-economic and demographic data at national, provincial and local levels.
  • S/he supports UNFPA undertaking evidence-based advocacy and policy work and informs and guides programme interventions for the accelerated achievement of the ICPD Programme of Action and the 2030 Agenda.
  • S/he supports all UNFPA programmatic areas through the generation and use of data, and data-based analytical products and demographic intelligence at national and sub-national level for upstream policy engagement and programme planning and implementation.
  • S/he will help to build the in-house statistical literacy of UNFPA staff and partners across programmatic areas.

Reporting directly to the Programme Specialist, Population Policy and Data, s/he will be responsible for:

  • Technical Support
  • Programme management
  • Knowledge management
