Position: Copy Editor (Premium Job)

Job Description

• Proofread text and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, readability, and factual errors
• Conduct extensive research and interviews to ensure content is accurate and up to date
• Review and revise content for accuracy and quality
• Rewrite text where needed to provide clarity
• Ensure correct tone, voice, flow, and logical structure of content is followed

Job Specification

• 2+ years of copy-editing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English or related field
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• A meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail
• The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
• Good concentration, to focus on texts that may be lengthy or dull
• Willingness to collaborate with a creative team of writers, graphic designers, and others
• Strong computer processing skills, especially Microsoft Office
• Mastery of spelling, grammar and punctuation errors and ability to make constructive suggestions
