Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who is passionate about visual storytelling and eager to build a career in video production. This role is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience working on real projects and improving their editing skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging, well-structured videos
- Create smooth cuts, transitions, and basic visual flow
- Add music, sound effects, subtitles and simple graphics where required
- Ensure videos follow the project brief and brand style
- Organize and manage video files and project assets
- Review and revise videos based on feedback from senior team members
- Collaborate with designers, marketers and content creators
- Stay open to learning new editing tools, trends and techniques
- Support the team in delivering projects on time
Job Specification
- 0–1 year experience in video editing (internships, freelance or personal projects acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, CapCut is a plus)
- Understanding of basic editing techniques (cutting, trimming, sequencing, transitions)
- Familiarity with video formats, aspect ratios and export settings
- Basic knowledge of audio syncing, background music and sound effects
- Awareness of social media content trends (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) is a plus
- Basic Photoshop or motion graphics skills are an advantage but not required
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
