Job Description

A reputed manufacturing company is hiring an Admin Officer at Birgunj

Position: Admin Officer

Location: Birgunj

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 1–2 years (preferably in manufacturing / textile industry)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the plant and office.
  • Manage and supervise contract labour workforce, including attendance, compliance, and performance monitoring.
  • Handle labour-related matters, including coordination with contractors and resolving workforce issues.
  • Act as a point of contact for union coordination, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of concerns.
  • Support management in handling labour disputes and maintaining industrial harmony.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain records related to manpower, contracts, attendance, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in cost control initiatives related to manpower and administrative expenses.
  • Coordinate with different departments for smooth plant operations, especially in a textile manufacturing setup.
  • Manage facility administration, housekeeping, transport, and security functions.
Requirements:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with office and workforce management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, especially in labour-related matters.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Prior exposure to textile plant operations and labour-intensive environments will be an added advantage.
