Role Summary

The Senior Academic Counsellor – Australia will lead high-impact counselling operations with a strong focus on conversion performance, visa success ratios, compliance excellence, and team mentorship. The role requires advanced expertise in Australian education systems and the ability to manage complex student cases end-to-end.


Key Responsibilities

1. High-Impact Counseling & Conversion

  • Own and manage lead pipelines, including proactive tele-counselling.
  • Convert cold/warm leads into applications and confirmed enrollments.
  • Provide comprehensive counselling from inquiry to pre-departure.
  • Deliver expert guidance on GS requirements, financial documentation, and Australia-specific visa regulations.
  • Drive high enrollment conversion rates and strong visa success ratios aligned with KPIs.


2. Process, Portals & Documentation

  • Manage applications through university and aggregator portals (ApplyBoard, Adventus, and direct portals).
  • Oversee documentation quality checks prior to submission.
  • Guide students in preparing GTE/GS statements and financial documents.
  • Maintain structured records and ensure CRM accuracy.


3. Marketing Intelligence & Social Media Collaboration

  • Monitor changes in Australian immigration policies, post-study work rights, intake updates, and regulatory shifts.
  • Provide strategic inputs to the marketing team on trending policies and student success cases.
  • Contribute insights to strengthen the company’s digital authority in the Australia segment.


4. Leadership & Professional Growth

  • Mentor junior counsellors on Australia processes and portal management.
  • Conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Align performance with enrollment targets, revenue goals, and visa approval metrics.


Requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years of Australia-focused counselling experience
  • Proven high conversion and visa success track record
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capability
  • Advanced knowledge of Australian compliance and visa frameworks
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
