Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Software Development Engineer 3 (Full Stack) to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance front-end and back-end systems that support our healthcare technology solutions. You will lead technical initiatives, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features. As a hands-on engineer, you will write clean and efficient code, guide best practices, and mentor junior team members. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, has deep technical knowledge, and is effective in communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze, solve business problems, and provide insights through machine learning and data mining
• Analyze complex software requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Architect, design, and implement scalable backend components, services, and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java, Groovy, Grails, and Python
• Lead design discussions and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
• Mentor junior developers and guide them in writing industry-standard code
• Develop solutions with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Work extensively with AWS services, integrating them into the system architecture as needed
• Implement advanced concepts like non-blocking code, multi-threading, and caching
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to product planning
• Work with both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Create and maintain architectural documents and reusable modules
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and perform unit testing
• Debug and resolve complex software defects to ensure system stability
• Continuously research and integrate new tools, libraries, and APIs
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in software development
• Ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of deployed systems
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related (or equivalent) field
• 3+ year of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Vert.x, building high-performance, event-driven, reactive microservices
• Experience with Node.js, Grails, and Python
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience working with JSON, MySQL, and Git for version control
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM) and understanding of cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Solid understanding of modern web architectures and full-stack development
• Working knowledge of Linux OS and Shell scripting
