Internship Details
- Type: Paid Internship
- Duration: 4–6 months (flexible, based on availability and performance)
- Location: Kathmandu, Nepal (on-site / hybrid, as applicable)
As a QA Intern, you will support the quality assurance process by testing applications, identifying issues, and helping ensure that features meet functional and usability expectations. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in software quality, testing methodologies, and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability
- Execute test cases and report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce
- Collaborate with developers and product team members to understand requirements and expected behavior
- Help verify bug fixes and feature improvements
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and team discussions
- Learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assurance
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Familiarity with bug tracking or project management tools is a plus
- Exposure to manual testing or basic automation concepts is an advantage, but not required
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve continuously
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Hands-on experience testing real-world software products
