We're hiring an Senior IT Administrator based in Kathmandu to provide hands-on technical support, maintain Odin's office infrastructure, and contribute to scalable, secure IT processes. You'll serve as the first point of contact for internal tech issues and help improve the employee experience through proactive system management.
Key Responsibilities
- Core IT Operations
- Set up and maintain laptops, OS, core software, email, VPN, and security tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve daily IT issues across hardware, OS, network, and antivirus
- Proactively monitor office WiFi and network health
- Coordinate with vendors for escalations and repairs from open to close
- Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding
- Laptop provisioning and returns
- Account creation and deactivation
- Access rights and permissions
- Systems, Documentation & Control
- Maintain a single source of truth IT asset register
- Devices, serials, users, status, location, and lifecycle
- Write clear SOPs for repeatable work
- If it happens twice, it gets documented
- Run scheduled device health checks
- OS updates
- Encryption
- Antivirus
- Disk health
- Patch status
- Flag risks early with clear options and recommendations
- Security & Trust
- Enforce least-privilege access across systems and devices
- Support rollout of baseline security standards
- MFA/2FA
- Strong password

- Misuse of access or manipulation of records = immediate exit
- Maintain absolute integrity in all systems and records
- You do not alter logs, access records, metrics, or data to make yourself look good
- You are comfortable with audits of your work and systems
Required Experience
- 2+ years in IT support, systems administration, or helpdesk
- Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS
- Working knowledge of networking basics (IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi)
- Experience managing IT inventory and user access
- Proven ability to operate independently
- Experience in a startup or fast-growing company
- Admin experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with remote support tools like AnyDesk or TeamViewer
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain tech to non-tech users
- Logical thinking, a proactive mindset, and high ownership
- Strong diagnostic skills for IT support across hardware, OS, and network
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to urgent needs
- Knowledge of basic networking principles (IP, DNS, DHCP, wifi)
