Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Financial Advisor. The role involves financial planning, project cost control, supervision of accounts, and VAT and tax planning while working closely with management and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide financial advisory support for HVAC and MEP design and construction projects
Prepare and monitor project budgets, costing, and cash flow forecasts
Analyze financial performance and support management decision making
Guide, supervise, and review the work of the accounts and finance team
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and financial controls
Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures
Oversee VAT compliance, filing, documentation, and reporting
Handle tax planning and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and tax authorities
Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or similar finance role in construction or engineering companies
Strong knowledge of HVAC and MEP project costing and financial management
Sound understanding of accounting principles, VAT, and tax planning
Ability to supervise and guide accounting and finance staff
Strong analytical, planning, and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and reporting abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage
