What You'll Do

• Set Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the long-term technical vision for our product suite, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals.
• Drive Engineering Excellence: Oversee the design and evolution of our scalable, resilient microservices architecture. You'll establish and enforce best practices for software development, quality, security, and deployment.
• Build & Grow Teams: Recruit, hire, and retain top-tier engineering talent, while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Innovate with Impact: Drive innovation, especially in AI and automation, translating cutting-edge technologies into practical, impactful solutions for our users.
• Optimize Operations: Implement and refine agile development methodologies, manage engineering budget and resources, and oversee our cloud infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, design, and other business units to ensure seamless and timely delivery of high-quality features.

Who We're Looking For

• Experienced Leader: 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role, preferably leading teams in a global or distributed setting.
• Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, and DevOps. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is a strong plus.
• SaaS Savvy: While not strictly required, experience in a B2B SaaS company and an understanding of the civil construction, heavy equipment, or related industries would be a significant advantage.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Exceptional Communicator: Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and empower diverse engineering teams, and to influence stakeholders at all levels.
