Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders in the US healthcare domain, particularly in areas like EHR/EMR systems, healthcare data workflows, and regulatory compliance, to define data models, workflows, and process optimizations that align with business goals. Your ability to translate healthcare business needs into technical specifications will be critical in delivering high-impact solutions.

Job Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in defining requirements, managing project roadmaps, and guiding teams on implementing business solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for integrating the platform with various EHR/EMR systems. Ensure seamless data exchange by working with interoperability standards and healthcare data formats.
• Translating business requirements into clear, actionable user stories for development teams.
• Conducting gap analyses to identify process inefficiencies and recommending improvements in the existing processes and products.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, software engineers, quality assurance engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that quality requirements are gathered in time.
• Providing support for testing, validation, and implementation of system enhancements. Be part of the acceptance testing after development is complete.
• Assisting in the development of scripts, reports, and dashboards for data analysis.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions and reporting tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including health care data providers and technical teams, to analyze workflows, identify gaps, and define solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Job Specification:Required Skills and Expertise:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, mandatory in healthcare software development domains.
• Requirements Gathering: Strong experience in eliciting, documenting, and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Process Improvement: Proven experience in workflow analysis, process modeling, and process reengineering.
• US Health Care domain:
• Knowledge of US Healthcare data and experience working with Claims, EMR Records, etc.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems and interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, X12).
• Data Analysis: Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets, and proficiency in SQL for querying data.
• Tools & Documentation: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams. Excellent written and spoken English.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and data management best practices.
