Job Description

We're looking for a Short Form Video Editor specializing in editing vertical content for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, with strong color grading skills using DaVinci Resolve. If you're skilled at turning raw footage into engaging, visually stunning videos that hold attention and convert views into followers, we want you!

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds) using DaVinci Resolve
• Apply professional color grading to enhance video aesthetics
• Create engaging visuals using captions, trending audio, emojis, transitions, and effects
• Edit content repurposed from long-form videos (e.g., podcasts or YouTube)
• Match editing style and tone to the brand voice
• Collaborate with the creative team for consistent output and improvements
• Stay up to date with social media trends and video formats

Requirements

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, especially for short-form content
• Strong color grading skills with an eye for tone, mood, and consistency
• Experience editing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok
• Strong storytelling sense and understanding of pacing/hook mechanics
• Ability to deliver multiple edits quickly and meet deadlines
• Access to fast internet and your own editing setup

Nice-to-Have

• Motion graphics or light animation experience
• Knowledge of sound design and audio balancing
• Familiarity with content in niches like travel, food, health, or lifestyle
• Understanding of social media analytics and content performance
