Location: Bharatpur, Nepal

Type: Full-time, On-site

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced R&D Manager (API) to lead our research and development activities focused on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. This is a critical role responsible for driving API innovation, managing a skilled team of scientists, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align R&D initiatives with Zydin's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage API research and development projects from concept to completion.
• Supervise and mentor a team of scientists and technical staff.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for efficient execution.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with GMP, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams to streamline technology transfer and scale-up processes.
• Stay updated with the latest scientific advancements and industry trends in oncology APIs.
• Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Prior experience in Oncology pharmaceutical R&D is preferred, especially in API development.
• Strong expertise in R&D methodologies and pharmaceutical sciences.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
