Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical & Electronics Engineer to oversee and manage the entire technical operations of our chicken processing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of electrical systems, automation controls, and utilities like boilers, refrigeration systems, and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). This role includes team leadership, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and maintain all electrical and electronic systems in the plant, including motors, panels, PLCs, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of boilers, ETP, refrigeration systems, and other utility equipment.
• Lead a team of electrical and mechanical technicians, ensuring efficient work allocation, skill development, and performance management.
• Ensure timely preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to support smooth operation of processing lines and packaging equipment.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and manage the technical department budget and ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions for plant efficiency and product quality improvement.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant technical performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electrical & utility maintenance, preferably in food processing or poultry industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in boiler systems, refrigeration units (ammonia/ Freon based), ETP operations, and plant automation.
• Working knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, sensors, instrumentation, and control panels.
• Strong team leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulatory compliance in food manufacturing environments.
