Job Description
Panchakanya Group, a leading and diversified industrial conglomerate in Nepal with a strong legacy of excellence and innovation, is seeking a competent and results-driven individual to join our team in the capacity of Senior Officer/Assistant Manager – Procurement.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in optimizing procurement strategies and ensuring the seamless supply of materials and services across various business units of the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the HOD in developing, implementing, and managing efficient procurement strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and operational needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage with reliable suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Handle end-to-end import procedures, including coordination with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, processes, and timelines in compliance with banking and trade regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure value optimization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, finance, and logistics to anticipate and fulfill material requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, analyze data, and generate periodic reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, vendor and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of both domestic and international sourcing practices will be an added advantage.
