Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and seasoned WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, developing, and coding data-driven web applications and websites using WordPress and WooCommerce. This role involves collaboration with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality client projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites, ensuring robust functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to conceptualize and implement client projects.
- Manage your time effectively to handle multiple projects and clients, meeting deliverables and deadlines.
- Create custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring full user edit-ability and accommodating complex layouts.
- Implement and customize WooCommerce solutions to meet specific client requirements.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of websites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong experience (4+years) in custom WordPress theme development: Ability to create complex setups from scratch without relying on prebuilt themes.
- Must know how to build websites from end to end, from the front end to the back end.
- Proficiency in WooCommerce: Experience in creating custom themes and plugins tailored for WooCommerce.
- PHP proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- MySQL required: Strong experience with database management and optimization.
- jQuery required: Proficient in implementing and customizing jQuery solutions.
- React will be an advantage: Familiarity with React to enhance front-end development.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, XML, AJAX, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSS3.
- Thorough understanding of custom post types and taxonomies.
- Version control: Experience with maintaining version control using Git.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail: Ensure high-quality work with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
